EXPERT REVIEW BY STEVE
When I lye down on the Tempur-Pedic Adapt Medium mattress on my back, I feel the top of the mattress to be a more buoyant mattress that’s eager to push back. The Tempur foam contours around me, and I seem to sink in slightly. There’s a stopping point like all Tempur-Pedic’s have where the bounce does not exist like spring mattresses do. When moving to my side, I feel that the mattress provides some sinking in for my shoulder, but not quite as much as I prefer.
The cover has some cooling to it. It’s also removeable by unzipping it from underneath the mattress. However, I’m thinking that the first time someone does that, it would probably be their last time, as it’s too much of a hassle based on the location of the zipper compared with how the Pro Adapt, and Luxe Adapt models have them on the sides of them. The cover also includes an anti-microbial treatment.
The mattress has 4 cm of standard Tempur material, complimented with 4 cm of Tempur ES material at the surface of the mattress.
The warranty is 10 years non-prorated with allowing no greater than ¾” impression as being the blanket threshold for factory defects.
You’ll never have to flip or rotate this mattress during its lifespan.
